Thereafter, we will visit the beautiful Calcareous, Daou, and Halter Ranch wineries for wine tasting, views, and some amazing architecture.  (You are encouraged to purchase a bottle or two of wine.) For those not interested in beautiful wines, views, and architecture but excited about military aircraft and car collections, you can visit the Estrella Warbirds Museum and the Woodland Auto Display. After our afternoon tours, we will check in at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Paso Robles and later go to dinner in the historic downtown at several local restaurants.  After breakfast Friday morning, we’ll leave for a 1 hour drive to Hearst Castle, where we’ll do a tour of the Grand Rooms.  Before leaving, we’ll have lunch in the visitor center and then head north on Highway 1 to Monterey.  Those who are interested, can visit the many attractions in Carmel and Monterey before having dinner at Tarpy’s Roadhouse at 5:30.
