Meet the Candidates
For Treasurer: Kirk Doberenz
My name is Kirk Doberenz and I am seeking re-election to the PCA Diablo Region Board of Directors as the Club Treasurer.
My wife Carolyn and I have been PCA members for 39 years and have enjoyed so many different activities over the years. I am currently the Diablo Region Treasurer and have served in the following positions:
Autocross Chair 2 years – GGR
Competition Director 2 years – GGR
Volunteer Coordinator for Werks Reunion Monterey – 2018, through 2025
Time Trial Instructor 6 years – GGR
Autocross Instructor 5 years - GGR
I have volunteered at the following events:
Parade Volunteer – 8 years
Porsche Platz, Laguna Seca 2019
Rennsport Reunion V, VI and VII, Laguna Seca
SVR’s Crab event
Outside of PCA, I also believe in getting involved and have been/are involved with:
Board of Directors Pacific Pinball Museum 2019 - Present
Tassajara 4-H Community Leader 4 years
Tassajara 4-H Project Leader 10 years (projects: Leadership, Financial Acumen, Automotive Basics, Sheep, Geocaching, Pinball Restoration)
Contra Costa County 4-H county board of directors
California Youth Fair Secretary 5 years
As your Treasurer, I helped establish the annual budget and tracking process to compare spending against that budget. All club funds pass through the Treasurer position, and I work closely with Diablo’s CPA firm to ensure tax returns are filed annually. I am running for the Treasurer position again as I would like to continue to contribute to the club in as many ways as possible.
For Secretary: Fabrice Di Meglio
My name is Fabrice Di Meglio and I am seeking election to the Diablo PCA Region Board of Directors as the Club Secretary.
I am a relatively recent PCA member having joined the Diablo Region in July 2024. I have, however, been very active with the club participating in numerous activities including Tours, Concours and social events. I regularly attend Board meetings and I am a member of the Tours and Events Committees participating in all monthly meetings.
I have also organized and led the recent 17-Mile Drive Baja Cantina Tour, the Lunch with Diablo at Billy’s Roy and I have proposed and led the Diablo Grill Badge project since its inception in October 2024.
Finally, I'm pretty involved in the Diablo’s Facebook group where I’m an “All-star contributor” : for example, I did all the daily posts during the SW National Parks Tours and many others related to Tours or Events I participated in.
Outside of PCA, I served for several years as a Director At Large for the HOA of my current home community. I participated in all Board meetings and was deeply involved in several projects affecting our community. I negotiated contracts and/or secured new contractors for common area maintenance and repairs.
My professional background is software engineering, so I bring accuracy, consistency, resilience and the motivation to “follow the process” but also improve it, when needed.
I have held leadership positions like VP Engineering and Director at companies where I have been employed so I know how to lead and to deal with complex projects or issues.
I’m also very proactive and with high standards, always pushing for things to be done efficiently, quickly and correctly from the start.
I would like to help sustain the Diablo Region’s growth and make Diablo the most awesome Region for all our members so that all feel welcome and proud to participate in our Region. I would also like to promote more activities through increased volunteer participation.
As for the Porsche brand, I have had a real passion for it since my young age, and I like to communicate about it and talk with people and share experiences.
All in all, I would be thrilled about the opportunity to represent your interests on the Board for a two-year term. Let’s continue to have fun together!
For Secretary: Ken Benhamou
My name is Ken Benhamou and I am seeking election to the Diablo PCA Region Board of Directors as the Club Secretary.
I’m excited for the opportunity to continue giving back to a community that has given me so much.
I joined PCA and Diablo Region as an active member in 2022. Since joining PCA, I have been involved in many Region activities. In the past couple of years, I co-led the 2025 Porsches on Main event, helped at every 2025 Porsches and Pastries event, participating in driving tours, and supporting tours as a relay or sweeper. I’ve also volunteered as a driving instructor for both Diablo and GGR Driver’s Education (DE) events, and I’m proud to have recently earned my National PCA Driving Instructor credential.
My journey with cars has spanned a lifetime. After 20 years racing NASCAR, I’ve expanded my passion with the Porsche Club, enjoying the camaraderie and enthusiasm of our members. Professionally, I bring 38 years of experience as the owner of SAS German Auto, where excellent customer service and attention to detail are at the center of my business values. I am a get-it-done kind of person. A professional problem solver, good listener, tactful, collaborative, and excellent negotiator.
In addition to operating my business, I am currently serving as a committee member of the City of Pleasanton’s Economic Vitality Committee. I have been involved with nonprofit organizations, and I understand the need to continually recruit volunteers and garner community support.
If elected, I will diligently perform the duties of the Board Secretary required by law, Diablo’s Bylaws, and abide by the processes and procedures established by the Board of Directors
Most of all, I want to help our club thrive by ensuring Diablo is always welcoming to all members, that we evolve in response to the changing demographics of Porsche owners and maintain an environment where friendships and memories are built.
I would be honored to earn your support—please cast your vote for me as Secretary of our Diablo Region Porsche Club.
