There is a Gimmick Rally planned for July 15, 2017. This rally consists of a leisurely drive through wine country in the Livermore area, with a list of questions for each team to answer regarding landmarks enroute.   The rally will commence at Porsche of Livermore and there will be a procedural and safety briefing prior to the departure of the first car. For safety considerations, each car must have both a driver and a navigator (who both attended the briefing) in order to avoid potential driving distractions. Each team will be issued a folder providing the instructions, route and questions to be answered during the rally. The folder will also indicate the sequence of departures which will be determined through a drawing to ensure a random priority for each team.   Similar to last year’s rally, cars will be sequenced with 90 seconds between the departure of each car. Upon completion of the rally, all drivers will assemble at Porsche of Livermore to receive recognition and awards for the top scoring driver and navigator teams.
