If you're a fan of backroads, this is the tour for you. Starting from Porsche of Livermore, we will travel south on Mines Road to Highway 130. We will continue east on Hwy 130 to Patterson where we will stop for a lunch break (lunch is on your own). From Patterson, we will continue on to the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. After a brief stop, we will head north to Hwy 132, and head home via Corral Hollow and Tesla Roads. The total driving time without breaks is approximately 3-hours. We will have a second group that will drive the same route in the opposite direction with both groups meeting up in Patterson for lunch. We promise to not leave you stranded on a deserted island.

Lunch in Patterson is on your own. We will stop in a location where there are a couple of restaurants and multiple fast food restaurants. Please be aware that Covid-19 restrictions may not allow indoor dining. Information regarding dining options will be sent to tour participants.

You may end your tour in Patterson or the San Joaquin River National Wildlife Refuge. At the refuge you may explore the Pelican Nature Trail or drive to the Beckwith Road Wildlife observation area to view the thousands of Aleutian cackling geese and Sandhill cranes that winter on the Refuge.

Drivers are responsible for the proper function and safety of their vehicles. Your vehicle should be well maintained with brakes and tire tread above the minimum wear levels. Know the location of all the safety equipment of your vehicle. Sweep vehicles are available for your safety, not to repair your vehicle.

Directions for the route will be emailed to registered participants prior to the Tour.

Waivers will be distributed electronically, and participants will be asked to sign, scan, and return the waivers by email.
