Lunar New Year Tour - Year of the Rabbit

Date:  Saturday, January 28, 2023, 9:3 AM to 2:00 PM

Costs:  $30.00 per person, includes pre-ordered Dim Sum Lunch

Please purchase one REQUIRED - Scenic Drive - Driver ticket (so we can collect your vehicle information) per vehicle/order and one Scenic Drive - Passenger ticket for each person in the vehicle.

As we are a Porsche Club, this event is limited to Porsches only.

Sign-up closes on Friday, January 20, 2023, if tickets are sold out, please add your name to the waitlist. If there are sufficient names on the waitlist, we may be able to add an additional table.

Join us in celebrating the Lunar New Year with a scenic drive starting at the Buttercup in Walnut Creek and ending at the Mayflower restaurant in Dublin for a pre-ordered Dim Sum lunch.

2023 is a year of the Water Rabbit, starting from January 22nd, 2023 (Chinese New Year), and ending on February 9th, 2024 (Chinese New Year's Eve). The sign of Rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope. People born in a year of the Rabbit are called "Rabbits" and are believed to be vigilant, witty, quick-minded, and ingenious.

Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM - Assemble at the Buttercup restaurant on Ygnacio Valley Rd in Walnut Creek
  • 9:45 AM - Tour Directions and Safety Briefing
  • 10:00 AM - Depart
  • 11:45 AM - Arrive at the Mayflower Restaurant in Dublin
  • 12:00 PM - Dim Sum Lunch

Route:

The route is to be determined based on expected weather conditions. The tour will begin at the Buttercup and end at the Mayflower restaurant in Dublin. The route will be provided to participants approximately one week prior to the tour.

Drivers are responsible for the proper function and safety of their vehicles. Your vehicle should be well maintained with brakes and tire tread above the minimum wear levels. Know the location of all the safety equipment of your vehicle. Sweep vehicles are available for your safety, not to repair your vehicle.
