3/2/2025 Sacramento Valley Region (SVR) Autocross School Registration Now Open - 2025 Porsche Rocklin Autocross School Registration Now Open! March 2nd at Porsche Rocklin, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm March 8th at Thunderhill Raceway Park, 8 am to 3 pm. Students must participate both days. If you have an interest in learning how to drive your Porsche at its limits don’t miss SVR’s 16th Annual Autocross School. The school will feature two days of instruction with one day of classroom instruction and one day on course. $140 per person if PCA member, $150 non-member. Registration is now open and is limited to the first 30 students. Students must participat both days. 3/8/2025 - Kids Against Hunger/Lodi Tour Ticket sales end on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, We are excited to invite you to join us at the Kids Against Hunger (KAH) Pleasanton event On March 8th from 8:30 am where we will package highly nutritious, life-saving meals. KAH ships these meals to starving and malnourished children in developing countries and in disaster situations. Additionally, KAH also focuses on feeding hungry children within the United States.
Following the packaging event at 10:00 am, we will take a picturesque but easy drive to the Dancing Fox in Lodi for a private lunch. This offers a wonderful opportunity to unwind and socialize with fellow participants in a charming setting.
After the lunch, feel free to explore the beautiful Lodi wineries on your own or with friends.

3/12/2025 - Tours 201 - Classroom, this is the first of a two-part Tours 201 training for those interested in helping with the Tours as a Run Group Lead, Relay, or Sweep. 3/15/2025 - Tours 201 Practice Drive, this is the second of a two-part Tours 201 training for those interested in helping with the Tours as a Run Group Lead, Relay, or Sweep. The practice drive will start at the Buttercup in Walnut Creek and end at Gott's Roadside in St. Helena. Tickets on sale now. Click here for additional information and to register for the event.
3/16/2025 - Ano Nuevo Tour, join us for a driving tour to Ano Nuevo State Park. The starting location for this tour is TBD. The tour will include some twisty backroads through the Santa Cruz mountains. Lunch will be on your own at the Davenport Roadhouse, followed by a guided Elephant Seal Walk at Ano Nuevo State Park. 3/21-22/2025 - Whale Watch Tour, This tour takes us along the scenic coast of the Pacific Ocean, first stopping at the Pulgas Water Temple. Lunch at Duarte's Tavern (Pescadero), and then on to the hotel in Watsonville. Dinner is at Ella's at the Airport. Day 2 starts with an early Whale Watching sail out of Moss Landing Harbor with Blue Ocean Whale Watch. Once back onshore, lunch is set at Phil's Fish Market (Castroville). We’ll wrap up with a wine tasting and snacks at Miramar Vineyards in San Martin, CA (45 mins from Castroville lunch). The tour concludes at Miramar. Tickets on sale now. 4/5/2025 - First Timers/New Member Tour, Sugar Mill, Clarksburg, CA (Sacramento), For those New Members who joined Diablo Region after September 1, 2024, OR have never participated in a Diablo Tour, PLEASE join us for a beautiful ride up the Sacramento Delta to Clarksburg where we will visit the Old Sugar Mill (OSM) Winery & Event Venue. Our ride will take us past the slopes of Mt. Diablo to Brentwood where we will then follow the Sacramento River levees as we wind our way through the Delta. We pass through the historic towns of Rio Vista, Isleton, Walnut Grove, and end up in Clarksburg at the renovated Old Sugar Mill. Tickets on sale now. 4/12/2025 - DE 101/201 – We will be holding a joint Diablo Region DE 101 and Golden Gate Region Ground School on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Heather Farms Community Center Club Room located at 301 N. San Carlos Drive in Walnut Creek. Lunch will be provided. All new to DE participants are strongly encouraged to attend this event. Registration is not required for this event.
4/13/2025 - Ladies Only Tour, Santa Cruz, A Sunday Ladies Tour that has been designed for Fun Driving, Scenic views and a great lunch in Capitola. The starting point is Raley's in Pleasanton. We take Niles Canyon Road to Fremont, and the Dumbarton Bridge to Redwood City. We will then take Woodside Rd to Alice's Restaurant for a Bio Break. From Alice's stop, next stop is at Sempervirens Point (aka Skidpad) for scenic views and picture opportunities . We will continue on Hway 9 to Hway 1. Take 1 south into beautiful Capitola. 4/25/2025 - Diablo Region DE at Thunderhill 3-mile, join us for our first DE of the year on the popular 3-mile track at Thunderhill. Our goal for the day is to "Drive Fast, Have Fun, and Be Safe". If you are a beginner, we will put an instructor in the car with you. As there are a limited number of Instructors, sign-up early if you would like an instructor. Golden Gate Region will be at the same track on Saturday and Sunday, so why not make it a two- or three-day weekend. Registration is via MotorsportReg. Registration opens on Friday, February 28, 2025 at noon. See the Driver Education section below for additional details.

7/27/2025 - New Member Recognition - Summer Picnic 2025, join our extended Diablo Region PCA family at this year's annual picnic and car display. Join in on the festivities at picturesque St. Mary's College in Moraga, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The annual picnic is our most well attended single day event and always a summer highlight. It's a perfect opportunity to show off your Porsche pride and joy on the Chapel lawn and a great time socializing with other members. Several of our Club vendors will be present giving you the opportunity to heck out their latest offerings. Stay tuned for more details.

BOD Meetings - Board of Directors (BOD) meetings held on the second Monday of the month are open to all Diablo PCA members. If you are interested in participating in a meeting, contact our club president Bob Hilton (President@Diablo-PCA.org).
Co-members - If you have a spouse or significant other that is interested in Porsches, consider adding them to the PCA roster as a PCA Co-member. Co-members get their own PCA number. They have a separate email address where they can receive communications regarding PCA news and upcoming events. It's simple and there is no charge for adding a Co-member. Just log into your PCA account and edit your profile to add your Co-member. If you need assistance with adding a Co-member, contact our Membership Chair, Michael Caine at Membership@Diablo-PCA.org.
Diablo PCA has a new way for members to connect. We have created a Facebook Group just for you. Here you will find members telling members about drives they've taken, cars they have seen, posting photos, letting each other know about informal get togethers and much more. You will also get news hot off the press from Diablo PCA. Everyone is welcome to join just click on Diablo Region - Porsche Club of America Group. Breakfast at the Buttercup - Every Saturday Morning starting at 7:30 AM, have breakfast with your fellow Club members, then head to the parking lot to kick tires. It's a great way to catch up with your Porsche friends and find out what is happening in the Club. Come early for the best seats. (Buttercup Restaurant, 660 Ygnacio Valley Rd., Walnut Creek, CA)
Threads & Treads, Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month from 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Make new friends, learn new skills or brush up on old ones (knitting, crocheting, stitching, crafts), all while working on community outreach projects. Even if you don't knit, these ladies have the scoop on all things PCA. (Black Bear Diner, 807 Camino Ramon, Danville, CA)
Porsches & Pastries, First Sunday of the Month (from March through November), join us for Porsches & Pastries on the first Sunday of the month. We expect the format to be the same as last year where Porsches & Pastries are hosted at different locations throughout our region.

If you are new to the Club or haven't had the chance to participate, this is an excellent opportunity to get involved. Tours
If you are aware of some fun roads to drive, or an interesting destination, please contact the Tour Committee Chair (Carolyn Wong at Tours.Chair@Diablo-PCA.org). We are always looking for fun opportunities to take our cars out for a ride. The Tour Committee will work with you to make it happen.
Registration for tours and other events is done via Eventbrite (you will need to create an account with Eventbrite to register for a tour). Watch for a link to the registration site in the Upcoming Events section above or go the Tours page of the Diablo PCA website and click on the link from the calendar. Tours may sell out quickly. Be prepared to sign-up for tours as soon as registration is open. If you are unable to register for the tour, add your name to the waitlist in case of cancellations.
Emails regarding last-minute Tour information and openings for waitlisted individuals will come from Eventbrite and 1bluemacan@gmail.com. Please ensure that emails from these addresses are not sent to your spam or junk mail folder.
If you wish to purchase your own radio, the Club is using the Motorola Talkabout T800 series radios. These are sold in pairs and may be purchased through Amazon. These radios are FRS/GMRS compatible, have 22 channels and 121 privacy codes (or sub-channels).
