What's New New - PCA Diablo is teaming up with Kids Against Hunger - Bay Area to help get as many meals as possible to help feed the Ukrainian Refugees. On Sunday, April 24, 2022, we will meet at the Kids Against Hunger location in Pleasanton to help package food. The event is free to participants. This Club is donating the $20 per person fee used to purchase high-quality ingredients that are a part of Kids Against Hunger's specific food recipe. Tours 4/9/2022 - Ladies Only Tour, This is a ladies-only tour starting at the Buttercup restaurant in Walnut Creek and heading to Corte Madera where we will have brunch at the Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant. After brunch, we will head out the Panoramic Highway to Hwy 1 and follow Hwy 1 north. At Olema, we head inland to the Marin French Cheese Company. After stopping at the Marin French Cheese Company, the tour will return to Corte Madera. Click here to register and for additional information. Sold Out. 6/18/2022 - Yankee Hill Cooking School - PCA Diablo cordially invites you to attend the Yankee Hill Winery & Cooking School where you will join Chef Ron Erickson and yourselves to cook a Tuscan style meal. The tour will take you through the winding roads to Columbia, CA. 6/25/2022 - Napa Tour - Join us for a tour through Solano county's Woodsen Valley into Napa County and up to Lake Berryessa, through Pope Valley and Angwin, and into the Napa Valley where we will lunch a Gott's Roadside. 7/9/2022 - Roaring Camp Tour - Drive to Roaring Camp Railroad and have lunch at a picnic site at the park. Participants can enjoy other attractions at the park including the Bear Mountain train ride on a self-pay basis. If you are aware of some fun roads to drive, or an interesting destination, please contact the Tour Committee (Susie George, Registration for tours and other events is done via Eventbrite (you will need to create an account with Eventbrite to register for a tour). Watch for a link to the registration site in this section of the ENews or on our website. Tours often sell out the same day tickets go on sale. Be prepared to sign-up for tours as soon as registration is open. If you are unable to register for the tour, add your name to the waitlist in case of cancellations. Emails regarding last-minute Tour information and openings for waitlisted individuals will come from Eventbrite and If you wish to purchase your own radio, the Club is using the Motorola Talkabout T800 radios. These are sold in pairs through Amazon for about $85.00. These radios are FRS/GMRS compatible, have 22 channels and 121 privacy codes (or sub-channels).
