What's New Date Correction - Porsches & Pastries, June 12, 2022 - Following our June 12th Porsches & Pastries, KarPark Automotive Storage is hosting a seminar on car valuation: Our friends at Hagerty would like to invite you to join their regional manager and valuation expert Ian Flanagan in an engaging seminar, reviewing the latest market trends and how they impact you and your vehicle! (See the Recurring Events section below for additional details.) Our next Monthly Dinner at Faz is scheduled for Thursday, June 16, 2022. Space Available - 6/18/2022 - Yankee Hill Cooking School - PCA Diablo cordially invites you to attend the Yankee Hill Winery & Cooking School where you will join Chef Ron Erickson and yourselves to cook a Tuscan style meal. The tour will take you through the winding roads to Columbia, CA. Due to cancellations, there is space available for three cars and six people on this tour. Ticket sales end on Saturday, June 12, 2022. 7/9/2022 - Roaring Camp Tour - Drive to Roaring Camp Railroad and have lunch at a picnic site at the park. Participants can enjoy other attractions at the park including the Bear Mountain train ride on a self-pay basis. Tickets on sale now. New - 7/20-21/2022 - Lake Tahoe Tour - Join us for a weekday drive through the central valley, through Sierra passes and lakes, and down into South Lake Tahoe. I promise some fantastic views – at least for the passengers. We’ll stop at Jackson Rancheria for a bio-break and lunch and a second stop at Capel’s Lake marina and store. Our final leg of the tour will drop us into South Shore where we will have a sunset dinner cruise aboard the M.S. Dixie II. On the second day, we will drive to the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, followed by lunch at Gar Woods on Carnelian Bay. Click here for additional information on this tour. New - 7/23/2022 - Join your fellow Porsche members for a viewing of the classic musical Fiddler on the Roof. Starz2000 is presenting Fiddler on the Roof at the Diablo Valley College Performing Arts Center. We have discounted tickets and reserved seating for this showing. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to purchase tickets and for additional information. 7/24/2022 - 2022 Diablo PCA Region Summer Picnic & New Member Recognition, Saint Mary's College, Chapel Lawn - Join your Porsche family members at this year's annual club picnic and car display. In addition to having a great time socializing with other members, some of our club vendors will be present giving you the opportunity to see their latest offerings. Please take a minute to stop by and say hello to those that support the club. Lunch will be catered by Queitup BBQ. New members plus one guest, and children under 18 are free. As you register, you will have the opportunity to donate to Threads & Treads. This group of club members pools their talent to support new mothers at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. WERKS Reunion, Monterey, CA, August 19, 2022 (Werks Reunion) - Registration is open for the popular Porsche show, WERKS Reunion. WERKS Reunion is headed back to Monterey, showcasing a breathtaking array of Porsches that are sure to excite Porsche enthusiasts! Porsche Club of America (PCA) welcomes all Porsche clubs, owners, and enthusiasts to join us for our eighth Werks Reunion Monterey. Membership is not required to participate in this celebration of Porsche automotive engineers. Expect to view a spectacular array of Porsches, from rare classics to current models and everything in between. Display your own cherished car in model-specific Porsche Corral or enter the Porsche Judged Field and compete to win a unique Werks Reunion Trophy. Paid Spectator parking is also available for non-Porsches on the day of the event. ($40 cash at the gate). Tours 6/25/2022 - Napa Tour - Join us for a tour through Solano county's Wooden Valley into Napa County and up to Lake Berryessa, through Pope Valley and Angwin, and into the Napa Valley where we will lunch at Gott's Roadside. Sold Out. Click here for additional information and to add your name to the waitlist. 6/17-19/2022 - Mammoth High Alpine Porsche Tour - 2022 Edition, sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Region. Plan to be in Mammoth Lakes, Father's Day weekend for the 12th annual Mammoth High Alpine Porsche Tour. There will be a Meet & Greet dinner Friday night, June 17th, with drives Saturday morning and afternoon June 18th, followed by a dinner Saturday night. Click here for additional information. We are always looking for fun opportunities to take our cars out for a ride. The Tour Committee will work with you to make it happen. If you wish to purchase your own radio, the Club is using the Motorola Talkabout T800 radios. These are sold in pairs through Amazon for about $85.00.
