Thank you for taking the time to vote. 11/19/2023 - DE at Laguna Seca, registration is now open for our fourth DE of the year at Laguna Seca. We are expecting this event to sell out quickly, especially if you are a Beginner requiring instruction. We plan to run our typical four run groups (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Instructor), so there should be plenty of track time. Click here to register for the event. Late Registration ends at midnight on November 16, 2023. Garages are available for rent for the DE at Laguna Seca. Click here to rent your garage space. New - 12/1/2023 Holiday Party at Fat Maddie's, join us to celebrate the holidays at Fat Maddies at the Blackhawk Plaza. We've rented the whole restaurant to accommodate as many members as possible. We'll announce the annual award winners, exchange "White Elephant Gifts" (approximate value $30), dance to the tunes of our favorite DJ, and enjoy a specially curated buffet dinner with one bottle of wine per table of 4. A no-host bar will also be available. After dinner and dessert, we will have a Porsche Gift Exchange. The theme is anything Porsche. Again, this year the Club is supporting the Toys for Tots program. We will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots at the holiday party. Please bring a new unwrapped toy and let's see if we can make the holidays brighter for less fortunate youngsters. You may also make a cash donation by selecting the Donation to Toys for Tots ticket. Tours Save the date for the following Tours: If you are aware of some fun roads to drive, or an interesting destination, please contact the Tour Committee (Susie George, Registration for tours and other events is done via Eventbrite (you will need to create an account with Eventbrite to register for a tour). Watch for a link to the registration site in this section of the ENews or on our website. Tours often sell out the same day tickets go on sale. Be prepared to sign-up for tours as soon as registration is open. If you are unable to register for the tour, add your name to the waitlist in case of cancellations. Emails regarding last-minute Tour information and openings for waitlisted individuals will come from Eventbrite and If you wish to purchase your own radio, the Club is using the Motorola Talkabout T800 radios. These are sold in pairs through Amazon for about $85.00. These radios are FRS/GMRS compatible, have 22 channels and 121 privacy codes (or sub-channels).
