Diablo PCA provides a welcoming and engaging community that enriches our member's Porsche ownership experience. What's New This October, Diablo Region will hold its annual election to fill Board of Directors (BOD) vacancies with terms commencing January 1st, 2023. As part of the election process, the BOD is calling for Diablo members who may be interested in serving on the Region's BOD to make themselves known to the nominating committee. As Diablo Region members, we enjoy an active calendar of driving tours, DE days, social events and other club activities throughout the year. These events simply don't happen organically. It takes the combined efforts of many volunteers to make the magic happen. If you are interested in helping out, we can surely use your help. We are especially interested in people helping to plan events. New - Our Monthly Club Dinner at Faz is on hiatus. The Club would like to thank Ingrid French for her work in hosting the event. Starz2000 is presenting Fiddler on the Roof at the Diablo Valley College Performing Arts Center. We have discounted tickets and reserved seating for this showing. Tickets sales ends on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Click here for additional information. 7/24/2022 - 2022 Diablo PCA Region Summer Picnic & New Member Recognition, Saint Mary's College, Chapel Lawn - Join your Porsche family members at this year's annual club picnic and car display. In addition to having a great time socializing with other members, some of our club vendors will be present giving you the opportunity to see their latest offerings. Please take a minute to stop by and say hello to those that support the club. Lunch will be catered by Queitup BBQ. New members plus one guest, and children under 18 are free. As you register, you will have the opportunity to donate to Threads & Treads. This group of club members pools their talent to support new mothers at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. Ticket sales ends on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Click here for additional information. New - 8/7/2022 - Cars & Coffee Cart at the Clubhouse at Rancho Solano - Please join us at the beautiful Clubhouse at Rancho Solano Golf Course, 3250 Rancho Solano Parkway, Fairfield, CA 94634, on Sunday morning, August 7, 2022, for a "Cars and Coffee Event" car show from 9:30 to noon. Yes, an event in the Northern area of the Diablo Region! Show your car in a non-judged event and meet with fellow Diablo members and Porsche enthusiasts. Bring your families, order beverages and food from the Clubhouse's cart (or go inside the restaurant and have breakfast/lunch) while you enjoy the view of the Bay. After the event, meet us at the nearby Groth Vineyards and Winery (750 Oakville Cross Rd, Napa, CA 94558) for a special wine tasting. No registration required for this event. 8/26/2022 - Grass Valley Empire Gold Mine Tour, Join us on Friday, August 26, 2022, for a morning drive through the Sacramento Valley, making our way north then east, transiting the back roads of the valley floor, then climbing along the Sierra foothills to historic Nevada County and the Empire Gold Mine State Park. Registration is now open with space available. Click here for additional information and to register for this event. Please note that a block of discounted rooms is being held for this tour. Tour participants should contact the hotel directly to make a reservation by Friday July 15th. Any remaining blocked rooms will be released on July 15th. If you miss the deadline, it's OK. You can still contact the hotel or another of the many lodging facilities in the area to secure a room. As an alternative, if you simply wish to join this drive, have lunch and stretch your legs touring the mine but not stay overnight, you are more than welcome to join this tour as a day trip.

Tours 7/20-21/2022 - Lake Tahoe Tour - Join us for a weekday drive through the central valley, through Sierra passes and lakes, and down into South Lake Tahoe. I promise some fantastic views – at least for the passengers. We’ll stop at Jackson Rancheria for a bio-break and lunch and a second stop at Capel’s Lake marina and store. Our final leg of the tour will drop us into South Shore where we will have a sunset dinner cruise aboard the M.S. Dixie II. On the second day, we will drive to the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, followed by lunch at Gar Woods on Carnelian Bay. Click here for additional information on this tour. New - August - Porsches & Pups Tour 10/1/2022 - Napa Tour - This is a re-run of our very popular and sold-out Napa Tour. Join us for a tour through Solano county's Wooden Valley into Napa County and up to Lake Berryessa, through Pope Valley and Angwin, and into the Napa Valley where we will lunch at Gott's Roadside. If you are aware of some fun roads to drive, or an interesting destination, please contact the Tour Committee (Susie George, This email address is being protected from spambots. We are always looking for fun opportunities to take our cars out for a ride. The Tour Committee will work with you to make it happen. Tours 7/9/2022 - Roaring Camp Tour - Drive to Roaring Camp Railroad and have lunch at a picnic site at the park. Participants can enjoy other attractions at the park including the Bear Mountain train ride on a self-pay basis. Ticket sales ended.
