Due to limited space at Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery, this tour will be limited to 16 cars. If the tour sells out, please add your name to the waitlist. If there is sufficient interest, the Tour Committee will repeat the tour, possibly mid-week. Those on the waitlist will have first priority for the repeat tour.

As we are a Porsche Club, this event is limited to Porsches only.

Starting in Richmond, CA (Marina Bay Parkway on I580) we will cross the San Rafael Bridge, head south to Corte Madera and make our way to the Panoramic Highway. We will take the Panoramic Highway to the coast and take Hwy 1 north to Valley Ford. In Valley Ford we will stop for a pre-ordered lunch at the Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery. After lunch we will head to the towns of Bodega and Bodega Bay to view some of the shooting locations for Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. The tour will end at the end of the road in Bodega Bay at the Bodega Head Trail.

After the tour you are free to explore the area, head to Bodega Bay Oyster Company in Valley Ford or one of the Oyster restaurants in Tomales Bay.

Lunch options at Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery (please select one per person):

• Cheese Curds
• Grilled Cheese + Pastrami + Kimchi + Hwy 1 Cheese
• Garden Grilled Cheese + Broccolini + Kimchi + Hwy 1 Cheese
• Special Salad
• Depending on availability, Salmon Melt or Tuna Melt (crossing our fingers that fresh salmon is available after July 20th)
• Tri-Tip Sandwich with special fixings
• Tri-Tip, Ribs, or Chicken with two sides
• 1/2 BBQ Chicken
• 1/2 Rack Baby Back Ribs

Included in the tour is a private screening of "The Birds" on Friday, July 30, 2021 at a private residence in Livermore. This is a BYO low-chair (beach chair or stadium chair) if you want front row seating on the floor, otherwise there is limited sofa seating and 16 chairs we can distribute around the room. Pizza, salad and drinks will be served starting around 5:30 PM and the preview will begin at approximately 6:30 PM. Please indicate if you will attend the preview so we have a headcount.

Schedule:

• 9:30 AM - Assemble at Starbucks, 2187 Meeker Ave, Richmond, CA (Marina Bay Parkway exit from I580)
• 9:45 AM - Mandatory Driver's Meeting
• 10:00 AM - Depart
• 12:20 PM - Arrive Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery
• Approximately 3:00 PM Tour ends at Bodega Head Trail

Drivers are responsible for the proper function and safety of their vehicles. Your vehicle should be well maintained with brakes and tire tread above the minimum wear levels. Know the location of all the safety equipment of your vehicle. Sweep vehicles are available for your safety, not to repair your vehicle.
