5/3/2025 - Breakfast at the Buttercup this Saturday
This Saturday and every Saturday Diablo holds its longest running event. Breakfast at the Buttercup. This event is older than Diablo and is in fact where our Region was born. The breakfast officially starts at 7:30 but most people are there at 7:00 so pick your time. This is a great way to get to know your fellow Diablo members. If you are a new member or this is your first time at the Buttercup please standup and introduce yourself. After breakfast we adjourn to the parking lot to check out the cars and visit. Come once and you'll be hooked. The Buttercup is a great independent resturaunt at 600 Ygnacio Valley Blvd. Walnut Creek. We'll see you there.
5/4/2025 - THIS SUNDAY Porsches and Pastries in Vallejo
This Sunday Porsches and Pastries is coming to Vallejo. It will be held on Sunday, May 4th, from 10AM - 12 PM.
Park at 282 Mare Island Way LOT B, enter at Capitol St., Vallejo. Near the Mare Island Breweries Ferry Taproom. Over 250 parking spaces available
5/14/2025 - Porches, Plates & Pals
Diablo's Dinner at the Mankas Grill is being revised to Porches, Plates and Pals. The difference will be that we will rotate amoung a group of resturants in Napa and Sonoma Counties. For May we will visit Rancho Fino which is a great little spot in Fairfield. Come join us May 14 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at 4163 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, CA 94534. We have room for 20 people so reserve your spot today. Next month we'll return to an institution, Pietro's No. 1 in Vacaville for Itallian food and Pizza. If you'd like to suggest a place for July and onward please contact Lawrence Tougas with your suggestion.
5/21/2025 - Dine with Diablo
The next Dine with Diablo will be on Wednesday 5/21/25 at First Street Alehouse, located at 2106 First Street in Livermore, at 6PM.
A family-owned business, First Street Alehouse has reserved their enclosed back patio for us. The patio is fenced in with a roof, but it is outdoors so dress accordingly. Ample parking is available just behind the patio. Order from the menu, pay separately.

5/26/2025 - Memorial Day Car Show
UPDATE. Thank you to our friends at Porsche Walnut Creek and Porsche Fremont we have revised the pricing for all advaned purchase tickets. Advanced purchase tickets are $20, and day of tickets are $30. The net proceeds from the registration will be donated to Operation Fredom Paws. Register today.
Diablo's Memorial Day Charity Car Show, sponsored by Walnut Creek and Fremont Porsche, at the picturesque Livery in Danville with its beautiful trees and serene atmosphere, brings together club members, friends, and the public to celebrate Porsches and honor the brave US military personnel who have sacrificed their lives in service to the nation. This extraordinary event is not just about showcasing magnificent cars; it is a heartfelt tribute to those who have served and a celebration of community spirit.
Registered cars will arrive at 9:00 am for placement into air-cooled, water-cooled, and four-door categories from which a Best of Show will be awarded with a trophy. The Show is from 10:00 to 3:00 pm.
Lunch at the fun Mexican cuisine Luna Loca Restaurant will be served in two groups, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The lunch ticket included in the registration packet has a $25 value and can be applied to meals and drinks of the participant's choosing.
One of the event's highlights is the Operation Freedom Paws booth, where attendees can meet charity staff and learn about the programs that save lives through human-canine service dog partnerships. In addition to visiting the charity booth, participants can join the charity raffle, which offers exciting prizes from dealerships, wineries, and other service and product providers.
5/16-5/25/2025 – Southwest National Parks Tour
A 10-day tour to the SW National Parks including Death Valley, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Grand Canyon National Parks. Registration opens today. Priority will be given to PCA Diablo Region members. Registration is open, please register and make your hotel reservations prior to April 2, 2025. After this date The Ranch at Death Valley will release unreserved rooms in the block to the public. 6/8/2025 – San Jose Historical Tour
Join us to tour Historical San Jose and visit the Gonzales/Peralta house, the oldest building in San Jose. We will have lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory in another old building that was once a warehouse. We continue to Historic Park, to ride a 1922 trolley car, visit an 1872 dental office, a hotel, printing office and a replica of lights used in old downtown San Jose. We continue to the Rose Garden which was planned in 1927 as rose gardens like the one in the White House were used to make announcements and have meetings. 6/21/2025 - Mayo Food & Wine Pairing Tour
Join us for a scenic drive on back roads of Solano, Napa, & Sonoma counties. Our destination is the Mayo Family Winery in Glen Ellen. Our route takes us through Green and Wooden Vallies over to Napa and the Silverado Trail. Transiting up the Silverado Trail, we'll pass through histroric Calistoga. We'll then cross over the hill into Sonoma Valley via Petrified Forest Road and Hwy 12 on to Mayo Winery where our tour will conclude with participants enjoying a pairing menu of award winning wines and seasonal bites. 6/26-28/2025 – Southern California Tour
Day one of this tour takes us down the Central Coast and Monterey Peninsula with a stop in Carmel Valley before heading east to Camp Roberts. We then continue south for lunch at Eberle Winery, then on to Santa Barbara. On day two, we will visit the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar. After lunch we head back to Santa Barbara through the Los Padres National Forest with a rest stop in Ojai, and a group dinner in Santa Barbara. On day three we drive the back roads into the Santa Ynez Mountains with lunch in Solvang. After lunch we continue on the back roads of Santa Barbara with the tour ending in San Luis Obispo at the Chamissal Winery. Click here for additional information and to register for the tour.

6/28/2025 – Diablo Region DE at Sonoma Raceway
Join us for our second High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) of the year at Sonoma Raceway. If you wish to make this a three-day weekend, PCA Golden Gate Region will be hosting their DE on Sunday, 6/29/2025 and Monday, 6/30/2025. PCA Golden Gate Region will be holding Club Races on Saturday, 6/28/2025 and Sunday, 6/29/2025.
6/28/2025 – Tour to Sonoma Raceway
Join us for a tour to Diablo's HPDE event at Sonoma Raceway. This is a perfect tour for anyone who wants to see what driver education events are all about. We'll depart from Costco in Fairfield, taking Suisun Valley Road to Highway 121, head across Napa Valley to Oakville Grade, and then go south on Rt. 12 to Arnold Drive in Sonoma arriving at Sonoma Raceway. Once there, we will have a DE talk given by a member of the DE team, followed by a parade lap where you'll actually be able to go on the track for a low-speed trip around the raceway.
7/27/2025 - New Member Recognition - Summer Picnic 2025
Join our extended Diablo Region PCA family at this year's annual picnic and car display. Join in on the festivities at picturesque St. Mary's College in Moraga, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The annual picnic is our most well attended single day event and always a summer highlight. It's a perfect opportunity to show off your Porsche pride and joy on the Chapel lawn and a great time socializing with other members. Several of our Club vendors will be present giving you the opportunity to heck out their latest offerings.
8/2/2025 - Porsches on Main
Kick Off Car Week in Style at Porsches on Main! Mark your calendar for August 2, 2025, as Porsches on Main returns to downtown Pleasanton to launch Car Week with horsepower and elegance. In collaboration with the Pleasanton Downtown Association and our sponsor Porsche Livermore this year’s event will feature an elevated lounge experience on Main Street — including a showcase of your stunning vehicles grouped by type and an exclusive reveal of the new 911.
Registered participants will also enjoy a special hosted event. Don’t miss this celebration of Porsche passion — save the date! Required registration is limited to 275 Porsches. Registration will be available soon, we will alert you in a future Weekly Blast.
