Weekly Blast 6/11/2025

2025 Diablo Member Shirt

Due to the success of last year's 40th Anniversary T-Shirt, the Board has decided to offer a unique T-Shirt to our members every year. This year's short-sleeved T-shirt is dark blue and features Ruby Star and GT Silver Porsches along with Mt. Diablo on the front. The back of the shirt displays PCA's 70th Anniversary logo and the "Porsche" name, as shown in the images above. Orders can be made on Eventbrite through June 20th. Following the shirt images on EventBrite, we have included sizing charts for men and women to assist with your selection. (Please disregard the reference to "long sleeves" in the sizing chart since our shirt is short-sleeved.) The shirts are priced at $22.00.To help save on shipping costs, we will make a bulk purchase, and the shirts will be delivered to the Club for distribution at the Annual Member Picnic on July 27th. Any shirts that are not picked up at the picnic will be distributed at subsequent events, such as Porsches on Main on August 2nd. Start your collection of Diablo's Annual Shirt!

6/11/2025 - TONIGHT!!! Porsche's Plates and Pals

TONIGHT is Porsches, Plates & Pals, so give yourself a break and go out to dinner. We will visit  Pietro's No. 1 which is an institution in Vacaville.  In 1957 Pietro Murdaca opened a small 28 seat restaurant at this same location. He introduced Vacaville and the surrounding area to his style of southern Italian cuisine. Pizza was something new in this area and it wasn't long before Pietro's pizza became a local favorite. The Murdaca family continues to serve its customers today with the same outstanding food as they always have.  In addition the current owner Joe Murdaca is a car guy and a Diablo Member so let's show our support.

Come join us June 11 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at 407 Cernon Street in Vacaville. We have room for 20 people so reserve your spot today.  If you'd like to suggest a place for July and onward please contact Lawrence Tougas with your suggestion.
