Weekly Blast 6/17/2026
Diablo PCA's mission is to provide a welcoming and engaging community that enriches our member's Porsche ownership experience. Whether it’s a Sunday morning Porsche and Pastries, a Driver Education Event at a local track, or a Tour through some of the most scenic roads in Northern California, Diablo PCA has something for you.
Upcoming Events
6/20/2026 - Ice cream Social
Come join us for an Ice Cream Social. Complimentary Ice Cream for all PCA Diablo Region Members!
What: Diablo Region Meet & Greet New Members/Member Appreciation Ice Cream Social
Where: Gene’s Fine Foods, 2803 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton
When: Saturday, 6/20/26 at 3:00PM
Be sure to wear your Diablo name tag and/or wear your 2025 blue Diablo Region T-shirt. Bring a folding chair and enjoy the ice cream, people & cars on this summer afternoon. This will be a casual car meet-up and social gathering.
All Diablo Region club members are encouraged to come out and mingle with other members, see their cars and kick some tires. This will be a great opportunity for new members to get acquainted, and for seasoned members to share their experiences with the new members to the Club. So we don't inconvenience Gene's customers, members are asked to park in front of the vacated empty Rite-Aid Pharmacy, located to the left of Gene's Fine Foods.
Dine with Diablo
If you want to make it a longer outing, please consider joining us for dinner at 6PM at Porky's Pizza Palace at 2911 Hopyard Road, located in the same shopping complex as Gene's. Porky's is an order-and-pay at the counter-type restaurant. They have great pizzas, pasta, beer and fried chicken.
Please register separately for Dine with Diablo (so we can reserve enough tables at Porky's) and register for the Ice Cream Social (so we know how much ice cream we need to get for the event).
Giveaway for the USS Hornet Event
In appreciation of our loyal and valued club members, we will have a drawing for two members at the Ice Cream Social to receive free admission to our next family event, “A Day on the USS Hornet with Diablo” on 8/1/26. The winners must be present at the Ice Cream Social to win and must be an active member or co-member of the Diablo Region. Prizes are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and have no cash value. To be eligible, members/co-members MUST register at the Ice Cream Social event by checking-in and presenting their valid PCA membership card (physical or digital) at the registration desk on the day of the event. The drawing to select the winners will take place at the registration desk at 4PM. Winners will receive email instructions on how to redeem their prize.
We wish to thank Gene's Fine Foods for hosting the event.
Please click here to register for the ice cream social event.
6/20/2026 - Dine with Diablo
Dine with Diablo in June will be after the Ice Cream Social
What: Dinner at Porky’s Pizza Palace
Where: 2911 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton
When: Saturday, 6/20/26 at 6:00PM (note the date change from Wednesday to Saturday).
The date was changed so the dinner would coincide with the Ice Cream Social at Gene’s Fine Foods parking lot, which immediately precedes Dine with Diablo.
Porky’s and Gene’s are located in the exact same shopping complex and share the same parking lot. The date change was done so members attending the Ice Cream Social can conveniently join us afterwards for dinner at Porky’s.
Porky’s is known for their delicious pizza, pasta, fried chicken and large selection of beer. They are an order and pay at the counter type restaurant, so separate checks will not be a problem.
Click here to register for Porky’s.
Check the Weekly Blast for more info and to register separately for the Ice Cream Social, on the same date (Saturday, 6/20/26) and at the same location (in Gene's Shopping Center). The Ice Cream Social goes from 3PM to 5PM.
