REMINDER: Diablo Board of Directors Election: If you’ve already voted, thank you. But, if you haven’t voted yet, it’s not too late.Vote by midnight October 25th.  Please vote only once! 

Each October, Diablo Region holds an election where the membership elects officers to serve on the Board of Directors in the coming year. The Board of Directors is responsible for the proper conduct of the administrative affairs of the Diablo Region, the proper functioning of working committees, and compliance with the Bylaws of the Club.

The ballot also contains space to write in the name of an eligible Diablo member by position if you choose. Write-in candidates however are subject to post election verification of eligibility to serve on the Board as well as verification of a person's willingness to serve.

12/05/2025 - (Fri) Diablo Holiday Party

Get ready to rev up your holiday spirit! Join us for Diablo's spectacular night of fun, food, and charity, proudly hosted and sponsored by Livermore Porsche!
This isn't just a party; it's a special evening packed with our annual awards, great camaraderie, and non-stop fun. You can sip and savor with a complimentary wine tasting from 3 Steves Winery, who will also provide (two glasses per person are included in price) wine to pair perfectly with our delicious buffet dinner featuring salmon, braised short ribs, and vegetarian mains, plus decadent sides and dessert. 10/15/2025 (Wed) Dine with Diablo - Porky's Pizza Palace

The final "Dine with Diablo" for 2025 will be at Porky's Pizza Palace, 2911 Hopyard Road, Pleasanton (next to Gene’s Fine Foods).  We will suspend dinners during the holidays and resume in February 2026. 

Porky's Pizza Palace has been a long-time (since 1963) family-owned neighborhood pizza parlor in San Leandro, opening their second location in Pleasanton in 2018.  Besides serving hand-tossed pizza, they also have delicious fried chicken, home-style pasta and feature over 25+ craft beers. 

Porky's is an order off the regular menu, pay-at-the-counter type restaurant. There are lots of spaces to park in the adjacent parking lot.  We have reservations on their huge outdoor covered patio (holds 80+ people and has both fans/heaters), so please dress accordingly.

Join us for the German social event of the year! This celebration is brought to you in collaboration with The German Guys restaurant. Enjoy German food, music, and dancing with special parking to show off your awesome German Porsches. You and your car can wear trachten (traditional clothing) or a fun costume to compete for an amazing German prize basket worth $100+.

10/26/2025 (Sun) Tech Breakfast

Join us for a relaxed morning of great food and car talk in Vic's All Star Kitchen private dining space.

Diablo's tech talk will be led by Diablo member Ken Benhamou, and owner of SAS German Auto.  Ken will dive into batteries and brakes, answer your questions, and share insights you can use. Bring your curiosity (and any questions you’ve been saving up)!

Breakfast is pay on your own — just order what you like and enjoy the conversation.  Come for the food, stay for the knowledge. See you there!

10/28/2025 (Tue) – Apple Hill Tour Rescheduled

Due to rain, the Apple Hill Tour was rescheduled from Tuesday, October 14, 2025, to Tuesday, October 28, 2025. We reopened registration for this event. Registration now ends on Sunday, October 26, 2025. We also slightly revised the route, after starting at the IHOP in Livermore and continuing north on Vasco Road and Hwy 4, we will continue north on Hwy 160 through Walnut Grove, then head east through Galt for our bio-break. Continuing east to Ione, then north on Hwy 49, we will exit Hwy 49 in Plymouth and take some of the backroads in the Sierra foothills to our new ending location at Larsen Apple Barn. There you will be able to taste and purchase a variety of apples, have lunch, and purchase an apple pie to take home. If you are still interested, Jack Russell Brewery is a short distance up the road from Larsen Apple Barn. And if you like apple cider donuts, they are sold next door at Rainbow Orchards. This is a weekday tour to avoid the crowds on the weekends. Click here for additional information and to register for the Tour.

10/30/2025 (Thursday) - Twilight Tasting for a Cause

Page Mill Winery, Livermore | 4:30–8 PM

Sip award-winning wines while enjoying soul food favorites from Marty’s Joint Food Truck (“smash burgers & tots you’ll crave!”).  All proceeds benefit Threads & Treads, providing baby blankets, diapers, books & more for newborns at Martinez County Hospital.

Free to attend! RSVPs Welcome   Not a wine drinker? Come for the food, community, and cause.

At the winery: $20 tastings | $25 flights.

Page Mill will generously donate $15 per tasting, $20 per flight, and 10% of all bottle purchases!

Every Saturday - Breakfast at the Buttercup

This Saturday and every Saturday Diablo holds its longest running event.  Breakfast at the Buttercup.  This event is older than Diablo and is in fact where our Region was born.  The breakfast officially starts at 7:30 but most people are there at 7:00 so pick your time. This is a great way to get to know your fellow Diablo members.  If you are a new member or this is your first time at the Buttercup please standup and introduce yourself.  After breakfast we adjourn to the parking lot to check out the cars and visit.  Come once and you'll be hooked.  The Buttercup is a great independent resturaunt at 600 Ygnacio Valley Blvd. Walnut Creek.  We'll see you there.
