Diablo PCA's mission is to provide a welcoming and engaging community that enriches our member's Porsche ownership experience. Upcoming Events
Diablo's Advocate Newsletter is seeking your support!
With our record-breaking number of tours and events, we need additional reporters editors and photographers to provide comprehensive coverage. You don't need to be a professional writer or literary expert—a brief write-up accompanied by photos (from social media or your personal photo reel) is all we require. Alternatively, if you have a Porsche-related topic you'd like to explore, we'd love to hear from you! Please email our Advocate editor, Maiko WM or Communications Committee Head, Lawrence Tougas. Thank you!
Why are we charging for Tours?
Tours require a substantial amount of pre-planning to find fun and safe routes. To continue offering high-quality tours, the Diablo Region charges a nominal fee of $10 per person to cover costs associated with planning and pre-driving the tour routes. If there are additional required fees for a tour, such as included lunches or entry fees, these costs will be added to the nominal $10 fee charged for tours. Please also review Diablo Region's new policy that will allow for discounts and early registration for Diablo members for some of our most popular events. Click here to read more about the policy.

Diablo Region DE events are about camaraderie, safety, and fun. The Thunderhill Raceway park is a great location for first timers and beginners. If you are new to the track or have not been approved to drive solo on the track, we will pair you up with one of our great instructors. To participate in this event, you will need to have a tech inspection performed by a qualified Porsche service center within 30 days of the event. Please check out the Diablo Region DE webpage for additional information and for the latest information on approved helmets for the event.
Participants, especially Beginners and those new to DE events are encouraged to participate in a joint DE 101/Ground School prior to the event. This training is generally held two weeks prior to the event and is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. Additional information on the DE 101/Ground School will be provided to event participants.
If you love being at the track, make this a two-, or three-day weekend by participating in the PCA-GGR HPDE2: March of the Porsches at Thunderhill Raceway Park on March 21-22, 2026.

4/17-19/2026 - CRAB-39
Continuing a tradition first hosted in 1972, hosted by the Sacramento Valley Region of PCA, CRAB provides a venue to socialize with like-minded fans of the Porsche brand. A wonderful way for long time members and newer members to have fun and socialize during one weekend, at one location, hosting a variety of driving and non-driving events. What does "CRAB" stand for? The "C" stands for crab feed, the "R" stands for rally, the "A" stands for autocross, and the "B" stands for the German word "begenen" which means a gathering or meeting. This year's event will be hosted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino just north of Sacramento. Registration is open for this event. Click here for additional information about this event.
This year the Diablo Region will be running a Tour starting in Fairfield and ending at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on the first day of CRAB. Join us for the tour and stay for CRAB. The tour will take us north to Clearlake, then head east to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This is an upcoming event and registration is expected to open soon.
