10/25/2026 (Sunday) - 2026 Zone 7 Concours Series Comes to Pleasanton!
Get ready to polish those rims and show off your pride and joy! The Diablo Region is thrilled to host the 2026 Zone 7 Concours Series on Sunday, October 25th at the picturesque Ruby Hill Community Center in Pleasanton, CA.
Whether you're competing for a trophy or just looking to enjoy a crisp autumn day with fellow Porsche enthusiasts, we have a spot for you.

Important Security Note: Due to gated community security, you must pre-register by October 23rd. No gate entries will be permitted day-of! Spots are strictly limited to 35 Concours entrants and 20 Corral exhibitors, so don't wait.
9/20/2026 (Sunday) - Member Appreciation & New Member Recognition - Summer Picnic 2026
Join the Diablo Region PCA family for one of our favorite traditions — the Annual Summer Picnic and Car Display!
This year’s event takes place at the beautiful Tice Valley Recreation Center in Walnut Creek from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It’s our most well-attended single-day event and a true summer highlight! Bring your Porsche to display on the scenic asphalt , reconnect with friends, and welcome new members to the club. It’s a perfect day to celebrate Porsche pride, enjoy great company.
Early registration for Diablo Members starts Friday August 7th at noon.

9/11/2026 (Friday), Diablo Region DE at Thunderhill (3-mile)
Join us for our second Driver Education (DE) event of the year at Thunderhill Raceway Park. Diablo Region DE events are about camaraderie, safety, and fun. The Thunderhill Raceway park is a great location for first timers and beginners. We will be driving on the newly paved Thunderhill track. If you are new to the track or have not been approved to drive solo on the track, we will pair you up with one of our great instructors. We waitlist all Beginners to ensure that we have enough instructors for the students. The Club Racers will not be at the track with us for this event, so there will only be four run groups, Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced, and Instructors. This allows us more time on the track with five sessions on the track.
To participate in this event, you will need to have a tech inspection performed by a qualified Porsche service center within 30 days of the event. Please check out the Diablo Region DE webpage for additional information and for the latest information on approved helmets for the event.

10/2/2026 (Friday), Diablo Region DE at Sonoma Raceway
Join us for our last Driver Education (DE) event of the year at Sonoma Raceway. This is a great opportunity to practice the skills you learned early this year at a different track. Diablo Region DE events are about camaraderie, safety, and fun. Don't be intimidated by this track. With one of our great instructors helping you, you will learn the track quickly. If you are new to the track or have not been approved to drive solo on the track, we will pair you up with one of our great instructors. We waitlist all Beginners to ensure that we have enough instructors for the students. We expect to have five run groups for this event, Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced, Instructors and the Track Performance Group for Club Racers participating in the races on Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, 2026.

If you love being at the track, make this a two-, or three-day weekend by participating in the PCA-GGR HPDE 5: Porsches at the Point at Sonoma Raceway on October 3-4, 2026.

8/29/2026 (Saturday) - Porsche and Pastries
In the Parking Lot - Meet up in the parking lot of the Blackhawk Museum, 9AM to 1PM. All Porsches are welcome! Please NO for-sale advertisements; it is prohibited by the Blackhawk Museum.
In the Museum - A presentation inside the Museum will feature Porsche Historian Jay Gillotti, who will provide two presentations. No sign-ups or reservations needed. If you have a copy of Jay's book, Porsche Decades, he will sign it. You may order a copy at Dalton Watson.
10:30 AM - Basic Porsche History - Based on his book, "Porsche Decades", it's an introductory presentation on a wide range of basic Porsche topics. Great for new members of the Porsche Club, or anyone new to the history spanning the past 150 years.
1:30 PM - 936 'Secret Spyder' - This is Jay's new presentation celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 936 and based on his new book, which is coming out later this summer. The 936 is an underrated and overachieving Porsche racing car with three wins at Le Mans.
All PCA members who present their membership card will receive 50% off museum entry, which includes the speaker event. ($10 off)

9/13 - 9/17/2026 (Sunday - Thursday) - Tahoe / Lost Sierra Tour
Join us for a five-day tour to South Lake Tahoe and the Lost Sierras. Tour highlights include: five days of outstanding Sierra driving, two nights at Caesars Republic at Stateline, NV; two nights at the Inn at Nakoma in the Graeagle area; scenic drives including Geiger Road, Virginia City, Occidental Grade, and a scenic loop in the Lost Sierras; group lunches and dinners.

Monday, September 14, 2026 - Nevada Loop, East shore of Lake Tahoe, Mount Rose Highway, Geiger Road, Virginia City, Occidental Grade, and the Kingsbury Grade.
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 - Stateline, Nv to Nakoma Resort, Hellman-Erhman Mansion, Palisades Tahoe, Donner Memorial State Park.
Wednesday, September 16, 2026 -Lost Sierra loop, group dinner.
Thursday, September 17, 2026 - Nakoma Resort to Auburn.
We have a block of rooms at Caesar's Republic for 9/13-15/2026, and a block of rooms at the Inn at Nakoma Resort for 9/15-17/2026. There are a limited number of rooms available at the Inn at Nakoma. Information to register for rooms will be sent to people registered for the tour.
There are three options for this tour, the full five-day tour, three days at South Tahoe (Caesars Republic) only, 9/13-15/2026, or three days in the Lost Sierras (Inn at Nakoma) only, 9/15-17/2026.
We are waitlisting the Nakoma Only and the full five-day tour pending availability of rooms. (We have rooms blocked at the Inn at Nakoma for those already registered for the Nakoma Only or full five-day tour. Instructions for reserving your rooms will be sent this week.) 10/4/2026 (Sunday) - Porsches on Main
Join us for Porsches on Main, a community celebration of Porsche heritage, design, and enthusiasm. From early classics to modern performance models, this event brings together Porsche owners, club members, and spectators for a day of cars, connection, and community. Main St. is an idyllic street that showcases our beauty and boasts over 35 restaurants.

SHOW YOUR PORSCHE
Display your Porsche on Main Street alongside fellow enthusiasts. Cars will once again be grouped and parked by model and generation to create a more organized and visually engaging show experience for participants and spectators alike. This includes an EV section as well. Registration includes eligibility for participant awards. Awards will recognize standout cars across selected categories. Details on voting and categories will be announced closer to the event. You must stay parked for the entire show, 10 AM - 2 PM.

MUSEUM ROW – PORSCHE TURBO TIMELINE
This year, Museum Row will highlight a historical timeline of Porsche Turbo models, showcasing the evolution of one of Porsche’s most iconic performance legends.
This space will be limited to just 10 specially selected Porsches for this featured section of the show. If you have a special turbo, we would love to feature it. Please submit your turbo’s photo, year, model, and a short write-up explaining why it’s a standout. Email: porschesonmain@diablo-pca.org.
Volunteer - This event requires many volunteers. Add a Co-Member
Did you know PCA members can add one co-member for free?!
Why should you add a co-member? Co-Members will receive all of the PCA and Diablo Region benefits you receive, except they will receive a digital copy of the monthly PCA Panorama magazine.
They will get their own PCA membership number, get their own copy of the Weekly Blast but most of all, be eligible to receive the same Diablo Region member benefits and access to the same member-only events that you get.
Co-members with a PCA membership number qualify for member discounts and priority booking for Diablo events. Individuals that have not been registered with PCA and do not have their own PCA membership number, are not officially co-members.
It's free to add a co-member to your PCA profile! Your co-member does not have to live in the same household, as long as they are a Porsche enthusiast. All you need to do to add a co-member to your account is to send an email (or by calling 410-381-0911) requesting to add a co-member to your profile. Every Saturday - Breakfast at the Buttercup
This Saturday and every Saturday Diablo holds its longest running event. Breakfast at the Buttercup. This event is older than Diablo and is in fact where our Region was born. The breakfast officially starts at 7:30 but most people are there at 7:00 so pick your time. This is a great way to get to know your fellow Diablo members. If you are a new member or this is your first time at the Buttercup please standup and introduce yourself. After breakfast we adjourn to the parking lot to check out the cars and visit. Come once and you'll be hooked. The Buttercup is a great independent resturaunt at 600 Ygnacio Valley Blvd. Walnut Creek. We'll see you there.
Save the Dates
10/2/2026 (Friday) - Tour to Sonoma Raceway/Parade Laps - Join us for a tour to Diablo's HPDE event at Sonoma Raceway. This is a perfect tour for anyone who wants to see what driver education events are all about. We'll depart from Costco in Fairfield, taking Suisun Valley Road to Highway 121, head across Napa Valley to Petrified Forest Road, and then go south on Rt. 12 to Arnold Drive in Sonoma arriving at Sonoma Raceway. Once there, we will have a DE talk given by a member of the DE team, followed by a parade lap where you'll actually be able to go on the track for a low speed trip around the raceway. Lunch at the racetrack is included.
10/10-11/2026 (Saturday to Sunday) - Ladies Overnight to Bodega Bay - Join us for the maiden overnight Ladies Tour. Start Saturday AM in East Bay, Lunch in Corte Madera at RH Rooftop, Activity Stop at Heidrun Meadery, Dinner at Drake's in Bodega Bay. Lodging will be on-your-own: Participants will be given several local options and asked to reserve themselves. Local breakfast then participants can drive home or stay the weekend.
10/15/2026 (Thursday) - Apple Hill Tour - Starting at the IHOP in Livermore, this tour will take us north on Vasco Road to Highway 160 through the delta, Highway 12 through the Central Valley, and continue northeast on Highways 88 and 49 through Placerville, ending at Larsen Apple Barn, Apple Hill's longest family-owned farm, founded in 1860s. At the end of the tour, you are free to have lunch on your own at the bakeshop/cafe, sample up to 20 varieties of apples in their store and explore the museum that documents the history of their Growers. This is a weekday tour to avoid the crowds on the weekends.
10/17/2026 (Saturday) - Tour/Events Appreciation & Planning Meeting - Join us if you are interested in tours, or events, have a tour or event idea, or would like to help out on the Tour or Events Committee. If you have an idea for a tour or event, please come and share your idea. We will match you up with someone on the Tour or Event Committee to work with you on the tour or event.
